The John Butler Music Studio is a haven for musical creativity set in the serene surrounds of Fairbridge Village. A place where musicians can meet, collaborate, escape and delve into their craft. The studio provides a secluded artistic environment for musicians to uncover their potential.

Managed and operated by Chop Street Music Productions, who have worked with local musician of all levels and genres. Chop Street prioritises the freedom of creativity and aims to provide an enriching and memorable experience for the musicians who come to the studio.

Come and enjoy a delightful recording or writing experience in the serenity of nature. The music studio is open to the public with a range of services and bookings as follows:

Services

Rehearsal Room Hire –
For bands and musicians who want a large room for rehearsals or writing sessions.

Includes the use of the rehearsal room, PA equipment, Microphones and leads, Drum Kit, Guitar Amps and a Bass Rig

Rehearsal Room Hire $60 half day (up to 4 hours)
Rehearsal Room Hire $120 full day (up to 8 hours)

Recording With Engineer

Record your next project with our resident engineer. Options for accommodation on site are available.

Includes studio hire, the use of any instruments at the studio and the engineers fee.

Studio and Control Room Recording $350 half (up to 4 hours)
Studio and Control Room Recording $550 full day (up to 8 hours)

Studio Hire (for engineers only)
For engineers who need a good size room to record their own projects.

Includes the hire of the control room, rehearsal room, Protools 11, the use of any instruments in the studio.

Studio Hire $200 per day (up to 8 hours) – Client to provide their own engineer if required.
Additional costs for production and mixing. Please email for a quote.

Terms and Conditions on booking the John Butler Studio:

Please be aware that a 50% deposit is needed to confirm the session booking.

Our Engineer will contact you in regards to your booking form and any additional information required to book your session.

Cancellations made by the hirer will incur a charge of 50% of the payment if made longer than 48 hours prior to the booking times and date. Cancellations made by the hirer less than 48 hours prior to the booking times and date will result in the entire payment being forfeited.
